It’s great to support local farmers and how easy is it when they provide us with produce like this beautiful asparagus? This was grown here on Maui and was so fresh tasting. I hope you are starting to see some great spring veggies showing up in your markets.
To prepare asparagus for the grill, snap off any woody end pieces, wash and dry the remaining spears. Toss generously with seasonings and olive oil.
Grill over medium direct heat for 10 minutes or until beginning to brown but not burning. To serve, sprinkle with a pinch of kosher salt and fresh lemon juice. Mmm, so good!
