Weekly Wrap


Aloha readers!  Hope you had a good week, and for those of you anticipating the big game, hope you get to watch some good football and eat some yummy treats!  Me?  I'm hoping to be chasing the little white ball around with a club-the golf courses are usually dead on Superbowl Sunday.

You may have seen the news this past week or so about the USDA 2010 Dietary Guidelines (my take: use less salt, eat less added sugar, eat less meat and poultry, eat more seafood, eat more fruits and veggies, eat less refined grain products and more whole grain products, less calories in and more calories burned-all the stuff we know but aren't doing).  If you'd like to see the actual Guidelines themselves, they are found here.
